UVic Vikes & Oceanside FC Youth Mini Soccer Camp
As part of the pre-season trip, the Vikes have partnered with Oceanside FC to host a Youth Mini Soccer Camp for Oceanside FC youth players on Thursday, August 17 at the Qualicum Beach Community Fields.
UVIC Vikes and Oceanside Soccer Camp
The University of Victoria (UVic) Vikes Men’s Soccer team will be participating in a team bonding trip in the Central Vancouver Island area in August 2023. The team will be training, participating in team activities, and playing a pre-season exhibition match against Vancouver Island University on Friday, August 18th in Nanaimo.
As part of the pre-season trip, the Vikes have partnered with Oceanside FC to host a Youth Mini Soccer Camp for Oceanside FC youth players on Thursday, August 17 at the Qualicum Beach Community Fields.
SCHEDULE and Information
Lead by UVic coaching staff and varsity student-athletes, two sessions will be offered to registered participants followed by a Vikes training session at the conclusion of the camp on the same field for any camp players and spectators who wish to watch the team train.
One of the Vikes Men’s Soccer Team’s core values is focused on community engagement and involvement. The team recognizes that supporting and giving back to the communities and clubs that helped develop its varsity student-athletes into the people they are today is very important.
