Coaching Requirements

HELP Coach –

Our club is volunteer-run and thrives thanks to the support of our community. We’re grateful for your willingness to contribute.  We couldn’t do it without you.

You do not need to be a professional soccer player to help coach with OFC.  We have programs to help you learn how to be a coach, along with an online guide of practice plans and coaches nights hosted by our Technical Director, Riley O’Neill.

Please apply to volunteer through our registration page.

Thank you for volunteering with Oceanside FC!

Criminal Record Check Requirement:

All volunteers must complete a criminal record check, including a vulnerable sector check. These checks are valid for three years with Oceanside FC. You will receive a reminder when your check is close to expiring.

How to Complete Your Criminal Record Check:

1. Online through the BC Services App (recommended)

This is the fastest method.

Visit the BC Services Criminal Record Check site and use Oceanside FC’s unique access code: E2VMW9DPLD
Once approved, Oceanside FC will automatically receive your approval letter.  This service is free.
2. Through RCMP
Request a letter from Oceanside FC by emailing operations@oceansidefc.com
Bring the letter to your local RCMP detatchment and complete the check in person.  This letter will waive the processing fee for our volunteers.
This process can take 2-3 weeks to complete.
Please provide the paper copy to our Operations Manager to finalize your application.

Coaching Certification:
