The Spring Season is a fun ten-week program usually runs from the second week in April through June, except for May Long Weekend. For most players, this program consists of one training session and one Saturday morning game every week. Teams are formed by player numbers at the different age levels. Depending on number of registrants, some teams may be a combination of age groups and/or coed. All these events are held locally in the Oceanside area, there may be the possibility of certain age groups participating in interclub/travelling due to number of registrants.
The focus for this age group is fun with an increased focus on ball control including dribbling and passing. In this age group, training incorporates skill-building drills with game-based activities and small-sided game play.
U8/9 GIRLS, U8 BOYS & U9 BOYS
The focus for these age groups is strengthening their control of the ball including dribbling and passing. Fun is still a key focus for this age group, incorporating skill-building drills with game-based activities and small-sided game play.
This age category may need to travel/play interclub (same as Fall) dependent on registrants.
