Team Policy:

Oceanside FC strives to develop player’s individual performances in a team setting while creating a fun and safe atmosphere that encourages teamwork and sportsmanship. We best achieve this when teams are balanced to include all levels of skill, experience, and knowledge of soccer. When teams are not balanced, it can discourage players and families. Oceanside FC aims to foster the love of the sport and will do its best to create a positive soccer experience.

When creating teams, Oceanside does consider the school the player attends to aid in transportation and carpooling needs.

We are unable to accommodate team mate and coach requests.

Following BC Soccer Rules and Regulations, playing up an age division requests will be considered based on an assessment of the individual skill level of the player by our Technical Director.  The request for an assessment must be sent via email to operations@oceansidefc.com.  The results will be valid for the current season and do not guarantee a player will be moved up.  The assessment fee will be due upon scheduling a date and time with the Technical Director.

Playing down an age group is not permitted; all requests will be declined.

All other player requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
