As we prepare to celebrate Canada Day, I invite all Oceanside FC players, coaches, volunteers, parents, and supporters to join us in the Parksville Canada Day Parade.
This is an opportunity to celebrate our country, our community, and the continued growth of Oceanside FC while highlighting an important need for our club and region:
A full-size all year turf field in Oceanside!
As OFC continues to grow, access to quality field space remains one of our biggest challenges. Weather closures, limited availability, and increasing demand on existing fields impact our programs throughout the year. A turf field would provide reliable, year-round access for players and benefit many other sports and community groups as well.
To help demonstrate community support, OFC will be launching a petition advocating for a new turf field in Oceanside. The Canada Day Parade is a chance to show local decision-makers the strength of our club and the importance of this project. A strong turnout from our membership will send a powerful message that Oceanside needs better sports infrastructure.
Bring your family, your teammates, and your community pride. The more members we have participating, the stronger our message will be.
